The Naam has been a staple in the Kitsilano community since 1968. Known for its quirky decor and chill atmosphere, this popular eatery is the place to go for natural vegetarian food any time of the day. We literally mean anytime; The Naam is open 24/7 except Christmas day. On top of delicious wholesome food, The Naam also uses their space to display local artwork and host live music. We highly recommend the sesame fries in miso gravy or a slice of one of their fresh baked pies.
If you have a sweet tooth, True Confections is going to be your favourite spot for late night eats. This desserts only restaurant features a giant glass display case of enough cakes to make your head spin. All of the cakes are made locally and some, like the delectable cheesecake, are family recipes passed down through the generations. Good luck deciding on just one type of cake slice when you visit!
Lucy’s Eastside Diner
It doesn’t get more nostalgic than Lucy’s Eastside Diner. This East Van staple offers up the best in 50’s decor and diner dishes like burgers and milkshakes. Best of all? Lucy’s is open 24 hours! It’s the perfect place for something greasy after a big night out. So grab a stool by the counter or a booth and order up.
Thierry is a chocolate lover’s paradise. This beautiful cafe downtown is the perfect place to indulge your sweet tooth in something rich and decadent. And if you’re not into chocolate, there are lots of other desserts to sink your teeth into, like the blueberry lemon macaron cake. We think Thierry is the perfect place to grab something sweet with your sweetie on a late night date.
Ouisi Bistro is Vancouver’s original New Orleans restaurant. It’s the place for Cajun and creole cuisine in the city. Enjoy some blackened fish, jambalaya or gumbo while listening to live music and ordering something from the well-stocked bar. After a late night meal, you can return to Ouisi Bistro on the weekend to try out their delicious brunch menu.
It looks like you’re drooling. Where will you be heading when your next midnight craving hits?
