Best Photos of Vancouver Covered in Snow – February 2017

Posted on February 9, 2017

CityMash.com - We were so hoping to leave the snow behind in 2016 or at least in January, but it seems like Mother Nature had a different plan. So Vancouver ushered in the first weekend of February under a heavy coat of winter white.

Despite warnings about the incoming snow and assurances from the city that we were prepared this time, it seems that Vancouver came to a stand still in the snow once again. Buses were delayed, cars got stuck, and homeowners and store owners groaned as they pulled their shovels and last bags of salt back out onto the streets. Haven’t we had enough this winter?

As much as we hate having to get around Vancouver when it snows, there might be a bright side to the wintry conditions. You may have missed it because you were too concentrated on not slipping on the sidewalk but Vancouver actually looks incredibly beautiful covered in white. Don’t believe us? Check out these gorgeous shots of our first February snowfall in VanCity to help ease some of your snow-related tension.
