Rodney’s Oyster House
We’re going to start by saying that this place is a total blast. We would recommend Rodney’s for literally any occasion, and February 14th is no exception! If you’re looking to have an upbeat evening of fun and romance, head to Rodney’s to throw back oysters and drinks what that special someone. The staff is great, the vibes are high, and the rustic decor creates the perfect atmosphere for a date.
If you’re a fan of veggies, you are going to adore this place. The creative vegetarian menu is made with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients that can be found. Their creative plates are both delicious and beautifully presented. We dare you to try and get through your evening without Instagramming your meal (you won’t be able to!).
The French Table
This relaxed French bistro is the perfect amount of cozy with a big side of romance. The best part about this gorgeous hot-spot? Fondue! We don’t know about you, but we’re pretty into cheese. In fact, bread and cheese might just be the best things there are. Fondue is an awesome, interactive date idea, you’re guaranteed to have tons of fun while indulging. Oh and, the desert is pretty extraordinary as well.
Chambar Belgian Restaurant
If you don’t make it to Chambar for Valentine’s Day dinner, promise us you’ll go soon! Everyone needs to experience this gem. The restaurant itself is stunning with a warm ambiance and romantic vibe. The food? Don’t even get us started! Creative Belgian cuisine along with fresh seafood and an outstanding list of wine and beer.
We can’t think of a better way to spend Valentine’s Day than dining at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Marina and Granville Island! Provence has an amazingly friendly staff, a stacked menu, and countless wines on tap and by the bottle for you to choose from. We know you will fall in love with this place. The Flying Pig has three locations in Vancouver: Yaletown, Gastown, and Olympic Village. Each location is as great as the last, trust us, you can’t go wrong. The inviting, buzzing environment makes for a fun night without fail, and the delectable menu sure doesn’t hurt. Share an array of charcuterie and try one of their phenomenal cocktails while you’re excitedly awaiting your delicious main.
We would have never thought a French twist on Asian cuisine would be a thing, let alone be this good! At Pidgin they have fused together casual and fine dining to create an atmosphere that is both exquisite and comfortable. We truly believe this is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, you will not regret choosing Pidgin for your Valentine’s Day dinner.
The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant
Views of the Vancouver skyline, located right on Granville Island, fresh seafood, and great vibes. Honestly, what more could you want in a restaurant? We have never (ever) heard a bad review, and we’re convinced we never will. The Sandbar is an unbeatable date-night spot.
