The Best Photos from Love In The Square 2017

Posted on March 12, 2017 - You may have noticed something suspicious happening down at Robson Square on February 12th. There were lots of people dressed up, lots of cameras and lots of cheering. What was going on?

Love In The Square! It’s an annual event held by Pop Up Weddings and Young, Hip & Married where wedding vendors donate their time to put on a day of free weddings. Couples arrived at Robson Square with their marriage licenses and were able to get married by a Young, Hip & Married officiant free of charge! They stood in front of beautiful floral archways, took pictures at a photobooth and shared their joy with family, friends and passerbys on the street.

Florists, photographers, stylists and officiants all volunteered their time to make Love In The Square possible. And while they didn’t get any money for their efforts, they got to witness the most magical day of real love in all its forms.

From same sex couples and young sweethearts to retired lovebirds and entire families, the weddings happening at Love In The Square were all unique. But one thing they all had in common – so much love!

Check out some of the gorgeous photos from this awesome event:

Today this really amazing thing happened – Victoria was apart of an amazing team who helped couples say "I do!" For FREE! Being apart of this industry, it's easy to be confined to the idea that weddings need to be expensive to be amazing. When creating our Photography Wedding packages; many colleagues, Wedding professionals and Vendors told us to raise our Photo prices. We believe in spending time not money + creating memories not debt. Today refuelled our Wild Hearts, to give back in ways we know how. Going forward, Victoria will be donating a 5 hour wedding Photography package FOR FREE, once a year, to a very deserving couple! Now let's all swoon over this couple and their eldest son who couldn't contain his excitement for his parents getting hitched { tap for vendors involved with #loveinthesquare2017 }#wildheartscollective #shoplocal #elopementphotographer
